Stone Dairy Press is the moniker of artist, printmaker, educator and wannabe musician, Greg Stone. Honoring his familial roots in northern New York, the name is an homage to the former dairy farm on which his grandfather grew up.

Born and raised in the Atlanta area, Greg earned a BFA from the University of Georgia a MFA from the University of Kansas, where he co-founded the printmaking band À la Poupée & the Chine-Collés. After grad school, Greg lived in New York City and the Hudson Valley where he worked a pot-pourri of jobs in the art industry, from Art Handler to Printer-for-Hire, Studio Assistant to Master Printer.

After several years of the New York hustle, Greg moved back to Georgia, where he now teaches at Kennesaw State University and local art centers, growing the Stone Dairy Press name through workshops, events and markets, and spreading the love of all things

When not busy teaching or making things, Greg can be found playing guitar or on walks in the woods with his Printer’s Devil, Kora May.

All art is political. Some just more than others.
