Stamps & Stencils - Printing Without A Press
Printmaking does not have to require a lot of equipment like heavy presses. In fact, printmaking’s history can be traced to using a hand as a stencil in a cave! Stamps and stencils have been around well before Gutenberg’s press, and can be used to make all kind of prints in the comfort of one’s own home! This workshop will focus entirely on methods and techniques such as pochoir (stencling) and using stamps, to create prints with a just some household and craft stores items. No printing experience necessary but always welcome!
